My boys of elementary ages LOVE her. She is dependable, enthusiastic and engages with the boys. Always playing games and even held a lemonade stand with them! 5 stars all the way!

We hired Monica to watch our 8 month old when we went out for a few hours for dinner and again for 7 hours when we went to a wedding. Our baby was very comfortable with her and she was very patient with him and gave him her full undivided attention. We would definitely use Monica again. She is very reliable, responsible, and attentive.

This was our first time finding someone outside of family to watch our 2.5 year-old daughter and I was a bit anxious. After a phone call and exchanging several messages, we decided to hire Monica for the day. I was put at ease the second she walked in the door. My daughter took to her immediately and I could tell she was going to be very patient and kind with her. Monica is prompt and attentive and we love the fact that she is an educator. She was incredibly accommodating to our needs, particularly since our daughter needed a little extra attention with some medication this week. And bonus, if I annoyed her with my neurotic behavior, she never let on :) She kept in contact with me throughout the day at my prompting and I never had to wonder how it was going. I'm thrilled that we now have someone we can call on to watch our girl. I know she had a great time today because she passed out as soon as we put her to bed tonight and that doesn't always happen so easily!

We had a great experience with Monica. Our regular babysitter cancelled on us and we were in a bind. Monica responded quickly to our add and took my call right away to discuss the details. She arrived early and with a bag of coloring books and other educational games. When we left our son was so at ease and having so much fun he barely even looked up to say goodbye. :) We would hire Monica again in a heartbeat. She is the best of the best!

Monica is great. My son is older and it's difficult to get him engaged in something besides anything with a screen. Monica got him out of the house and initiated activities with him that he enjoyed. After she left he continued to tell me how he really liked her. She helped me around the house and kept everything nice and clean. She is beyond qualified to take excellent care of children of all ages. I will hire her again and I would recommend her to my closest friends!

Monica was great! Right on time and had such a great demeanor with the kids. The girls all loved her. She is very experienced and knew what to do when my "rambunctious" kids would not go to bed. I will definitely have her again!

Monica was great with our 13 month old son. She jumped right in and started playing with our son which instantly made him feel at ease with her. You could tell she was experienced and knew what she was doing which made my husband and I feel at ease as well. She had no problem feeding or putting our son down for bed either. She was great. I would definitely recommend Monica as a babysitter.

Monica showed up on time and stayed and hour longer, all the while taking care of 20 plus kids at a party. She was positive and extremely active through out the night. I highly recommend Monica for any baby sitting needs and will use her services again in the future.

Monica was a huge satisfaction, she was prompt, communicated very well, and was very flexible when she didn't have to be. I only worry that we made it too complicated for her, but she was very respectful of our needs and situation and made the very best out of it! Our 2 boys had a lot of fun with her, next time we are in Chicago, we will definitely be reaching out to Monica again. Monica did a great job watching our infant son, while we had our first date night out since he was born. She responded quickly to all communications, was prompt in arriving, and had a friendly warm attitude. Thank you, Monica!

Monica came to our house with a bag full of goodies in order to keep my daughter occupied for the entire day and help provide company to my mother-in-law who was in town, but has health concerns of her own. My daughter had a great time that day and my mother-in-law continuously commented on how professional, respectful, and fun Monica was that day. Monica has helped us out of more than one difficult situation on very short notice. She is great with all 3 of our girls, and when she is scheduled at 8AM, we can always to see her, in her car in our driveway at 745, waiting to come ring our bell. The girls always have a great time with her, despite knowing they cannot budge her an inch on the rules. I just don't worry when Monica is there.

Monica is loved by my four year old boy and me too! She is so much fun and engaging with my son. We went on a road trip (the three of us) and had a blast! She just rolled with how the weekend went and how I would need her assistance here and there. I have had her sit many many times and she has never let us down. Always a smile on my son's face and relief and peace in my heart. Quite an accomplishment.

Monica is great, she is responsible, great heart, kids love her, great energy, excellent role model and more importantly exudes trust. It was a pleasure having her as help.

We interviewed several candidates for our family. When Monica did not receive the job, she wrote me a very unprofessional and rude email stating how much money she lost because she did not get the position with us. She said that she is reporting me to SitterCity. HAHA - feel free. Parents read all of the reviews for Monica, including her rebuttals. There is some concerning undertones in her replies. What is interesting is that we would have used Monica's services in the future... but NOT now!

Very good with our 2 dogs - Monica is very reliable and she was able to take good care of them while we were away for a few days. They were happy and healthy and in good hands while we were gone!

Monica has a very calm, sweet attitude with my three year old twins - she is able to maintain order while still making sure that they have a great time with her! She is reliable and very capable. She is also very willing to do whatever she can to help out if there is a need at short notice. We are happy to have found her and can recommend her to any family with young kids.

I was new to Sitter sitty and nervous about hiring someone sight unseen to be a tour guide for my 11 year old son when I visited Chicago recently on business. Monica was a dream come true. She and I had a couple of good detailed phone conversationns to plan the itenerary. She did lots of very exennsive research on Metra schedules, ticket prices of places to see and hours of operation. She met us promptly, was totally charming and got wonderful reports from my son for the great time they had together. And it was a total BONUS educationally that Minica speaks 5 languages and used lots of Spanish with my son who's in 1st year Spanish & spoke German at the Octoberfest. I highly reccommend her!

Monica came over to look after my two boys ages 6 months and nearly 4 years old. She did a great job with both of them and even face-painted with my eldest and texted me the pictures! What a thoughtful gesture! I highly recommend her for any sitting job.

We hired Monica for the first time (about four hours) we ever used a baby sitter for our three month old daughter. We were nervous leaving her for the first time. However, Monica came early and listened carefully to our information about our baby's needs and routines. We had a family member who was there while Monica was, and he said she was great! She did not watch TV or read a book but focused all her time on our daughter. Our daughter looked rested and comfortable when we returned. We would love to have her work with us again, but unfortunately we live rather far from her; we would highly recommend her.

We talked on the phone with Monica, and she really made a good impression. At the end of conversation we discuss a possible time for an interview. Saturday was working for both of us, depending on the weather. If it rains--she will come for an interview, if not--then Monday. Guess what, I called her three times (for it was raining since early morning), left her three voicemails on her phone, sent her an e-mail--in order to meet with her on Saturday (for she had some plans for Sunday), and today is Monday night--and I never heard a word from her... All I know I'm happy I found out about her irresponsibility before I even hired her.

Monica saved my date night! My original babysitter never showed up and Monica was willing and able to take her place. She showed up within just a few hours of my job posting and was very pleasant! My kids loved her and she is such a great and positive person! I recommend her to anyone : ) Thank you Monica!!

My wife and I never met Monica before, but we had a short notice babysitting job for all day for our two boys (2 years and 2 months). Monica responded to our ad promptly. We love Monica and so do our daughters. We have been using Monica for over a year now and I just kept forgetting to get on here and post a review - she is GREAT! She is extremely prompt and great with the kids. My girls are 11 months and 2 years old so it can be a challenge and Monica does great. My two year old asks for her and gets excited when she knows she is coming over. We hope keep her as part of the extended family as the girls get bigger!

Monica seemed pretty good with our girls at first. The third time we had her sit for us, we needed to come home earlier than we normally do (after 3 hours). Before we came home that night, we had asked Monica to babysit for us the next weekend while we attended an important event. After we came home early, I had a feeling that she was going to cancel for our important event. The day prior to this event, I called to confirm that Monica was still planning on sitting for us. She said that she was so I didn't worry. She called me the day of the event and cancelled saying that she was sick. She has not accepted a job from us since then.

I use Monica regularly as a Saturday Day Care provider in my office. I would highly recommend her for any child care position.

My Daughter loves Monica!!!! She is sad when she leaves. My house is spotless when we arrive home and she is always playing with my daughter, reading to her and teaching her new things. She is worth every penny we pay her and I feel fortunate that we have her to watch Rachael!!!!!

Monica left me an email while I was at work saying she had an interview and she couldn't make it on time. I didn't know if she was coming late or not at all. I tried to contact her through email and phone but she did not reply by either method. I had to find someone else.
