I'm a 53-year-old mother of 5, ranging in age from 15-24. I have homeschooled all my kids up until high school. Now that my youngest is in her last year of schooling, I'm looking to earn a little extra money. I love children of all ages, am fun and creative, and believe that keeping kids busy and engaged can circumvent lots of "undesirable" behavior. However, I'm not afraid to use some gentle discipline when necessary. I'm a bookworm myself and love to read with kids. I was an after-school reading tutor with the United Way for 1 year. I also love nature and always got my kids outside as much as possible.
