Hello Families! I'm a highly experienced nanny that's recently started a Master's in Family Therapy program and am looking for part-time work. I have over 15 years of professional experience in childcare including nanny, nanny share, household management, and au pair positions. I've provided care for ages 6 weeks to 14 years and am comfortable with all ages, but especially enjoy caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers as I have the most experience with these age groups. I am passionate about the work I do and my childcare philosophy centers around open communication, compassion, safety, and honoring the unique qualities every child possesses. As I tailor my days to the individual needs and interests of the kiddos in my care, there isn’t necessarily a “typical day”, but here are some favorite activities from past families to give you an idea of how I engage with children: -Hikes + Nature Walks Read more (where we identify and talk about the plants and animals we see) -Arts + Crafts in just about any form; jewelry-making, painting, sun printing, natural dyes, collages, clay and doughs etc. -Lots of reading and trips to the library (: -Imaginary play, singing and dance parties -Yoga I'm CPR and First-Aid Certified and am happy to provide references!
