My fiance and I relocated to Buford, GA from California a year ago. We were new in town and were looking for a regular babysitter/Nanny for our active and bright 8-year-old girl and 5-year-old son with Special Needs. We were very cautious because my son in particular isn't very comfortable with strangers. We posted on sittercity and interviewed several people before we met Mrs. Trudy. Our initial discussion with Mrs. Trudy was approximately 30 minutes and my fiance and I were impressed with her experience and references. We invited her to the house to meet the kids and interview her while seeing how she interacted with the kids. It was almost instantly that our kids responded positively to Mrs. Trudy and what was supposed to be a 20-minute interview turned into a 2-hour meeting where we talked, and prayed and she gave us wisdom and advice that was well received. Our initial meeting ended with my 5-year-old who typically doesn't warm up to new people quickly falling asleep in Mrs. Trudy's lap. It was at that point that we knew we had found our nanny. It's been over a year since that first meeting and now Mrs. Trudy is so much more than a babysitter she has become a part of our family. If you're looking for a Christian babysitter with a heart of gold and a passion for working with kids, Mrs. Trudy is as good as it gets.

Words can’t describe how great Ms Trudy has been for our family. She has truly become a part of our family and she is so great with my child. My child always enjoys spending time with her! She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and caters her care to each child’s needs. She truly goes above and beyond to care for my child and help my family. She always checks in and communicates timely when my child is in her care and also not in her care. I definitely recommend her services!

Ms. Trudy has been a blessing to my family. She takes excellent care of my daughter. She has become an extended part of my family. My daughter loves her and looks forward to spending time with her. She always where she says she is going to be.

When I listed my job posting, I was looking for a Nanny. I was very transparent with my listing, my budget and so on. When Trudy reached out to me, we spoke over the phone, she mentioned that her rate was slightly higher. And she had years of experience, etc.... I was okay with compromising just a little. After we came to an agreement, I wrote down the cost we discussed, hours, schedule etc. I dropped my son off, picked him up and sent her a message to confirm payment I would be sending her. She suddenly increased the price of the night care which we discussed and agreed upon. I expressed to her that isn't what was discussed, she debated with me and claimed she never agreed to that price. Moving forward, she reached out to me and said God put it on her heart, she would honor that price for overnight because I am a single mom. In my mind, I'm like okay you're not giving any favors, that was what we discussed. I think she had to sit down with herself and most likely felt guilty. I decided I would continue to use her services because it was convenient for me and my family and she did the same thing again. She decided she would increase the hourly price when it came time to sending payment. I budgeted everything so, this threw me off. She debated with me and claimed she wouldn't never agree to that price. I sent her payment, although my son liked her, I couldn't continue to use her services because I don't like that type of energy, she isn't consistent, and communication isn't all that great. I would recommend having a "written" contract when you work with her, so nothing is misconstrued.

Trudy is a caring professional who brings with her a wealth of childcare experience. What I appreciated about Trudy was that she wants to make sure that there is a fit both ways (for the families and for the great care she provides). As you can tell from her credentials and reviews, she's truly a professional childcare provider. I trust Trudy with my children and am looking forward to working with her again!

Ms. Trudy is simply the best. She possesses diversified talents as a caregiver for children: deep experience with childhood development, logistics, nutrition, exercise, activities directorship, spirituality, education, and special needs resources, just to name a few. She has an extra attribute that has proven invaluable for my family: flexibility. She is talented with connecting with children and bringing out the best in them. You won't find a caregiver with Trudy's talent anywhere else.

She is very nice and very experienced. My kids really enjoy her company.

Trudy worked for me for 2 months and 1 week as an overnight babysitter. In the beginning, she was punctual and attentive. She didn't have to cook, clean or doing any type of chore work. She was just in the house to make sure everything went well since my son is elementary school age. Within the first month, she changed our prearranged schedule and I had to find an alternative sitter for one day a week. Within the second month she changed her pay arrangement from hourly to weekly and was asking to be paid for days that she didn't work. There was other issues as well, she started showing up later then the agreed upon time. She likes to remind you of her age a lot, and that's perfectly fine, but she is a much older women. I wouldn't recommend Ms. Trudy for long term assignments, but for short term she would be wonderful.

Trudy has taken care of our 9 year old twins after school since August. She is extremely reliable. She does an excellent job of making sure they have a healthy snack and get their schoolwork done before we are home from work. She helps make sure they get to multiple activities during the week. She encourages them to play outside. Trudy is always up for a fun trip to the park or exploring to find something fun to do. She has been a huge help to me as I juggle work and family!

Trudy was wonderful. She helped me out on short notice and was so great with my 1.5 year old. Thanks Trudy!

We were very lucky to find Trudy to watch out kids for our date night. Trudy managed to make all the kids feel special and all or looking forward to the next time she comes to sit with them.
