I am an experienced Speech Therapy Assistant who has worked with neurodivergent and neurotypical children ages 1-22 in schools, clinics, and in-home settings. I am looking for a summer job while school is not in session, but also hope to build connections with neurodivergent/support needs families in my area to be available for throughout the school year as well (whether that be babysitting, a helping hand, or advice about IEPs/advocating for your child). Prior to my work experiences, I was a nanny for family and friends throughout high school. During college, I worked as a behaviour aide in schools and a behavior interventionist in clinics. I am VERY passionate about helping children find their voice, independence, and unique interests/personality! I love watching children learn about the world around them and cannot help but work on communication throughout natural play whenever possible.
