I am a licensed cosmetologist and owner of a new Barber-suite. While that picks up, I wanted to get back to working with children in my spare time. I was a gymnastics coach for children aged 3-13 for years, back while I was living in London. I loved the job... I loved the children...and I loved making a competitive sport fun. Watching children be proud of themselves and their achievements is something I miss often. I also grew up with a younger brother who has Asperger's syndrome and is on the autism spectrum. Growing up alongside him and helping and understanding how he works gave me knowledge in how to effectively be with him and others similar to him. I also grew up babysitting younger siblings and neighborhood children from a very young age. I love playing outside with our Golden Retriever, Murphy and our Black Lab, Ruby... we are Read more at the dog park nearly every day! I also enjoy hiking, cooking new recipes and working on my cookbook, and cleaning- as lame as that sounds. I also am extremely creative and enjoy arts and crafts, especially acrylic painting, ceramic painting, and resin art! All things that I know children would enjoy as much as the dogs enjoy partaking in (or just watching haha).
