Hello! I'm excited to connect with you as a dedicated USC graduate who has a love for working with children and families. Having recently transitioned from my previous role to pursue a graduate degree, I am actively seeking opportunities to apply my skills and passion in a meaningful way. Throughout my professional journey, I have gained valuable experience in many industries, including the dynamic field of corporate entertainment. However, my heart has always been drawn to making a meaningful difference in children's lives whether it be mentoring, tutoring, or providing general care. Throughout my life, I found joy in building community and making a positive impact. During my high school years, I volunteered at the local parks and recreation center, where I saw firsthand the impact of fostering connections with youth and creating engaging, nurturing environments. Throughout my college experience, I actively sought out opportunities to empower underprivileged youth, having Read more come from an underprivileged background myself. I dedicated my time to running an after-school program near USC, serving as a camp counselor for inner-city children in New York, and providing mentorship within my scholarship organization. These experiences shaped an empathetic, responsible, and creative approach to caregiving. Personally, I have had the privilege of caring for my four beloved brothers, including one who faced the unique challenges of an intellectual disability. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to providing compassionate support for children and families from various backgrounds. Currently, I am enthusiastic about leveraging my experiences and energy to bring positive and enriching experiences to children and families. I am looking forward to the opportunity to hopefully work with your family. Thank you! Melissa
