My name is Emily Hozian. I am a graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan. I majored in Physical Therapy and Religion with a minor in Spanish. I am looking to be a full-time caregiver in the Chicagoland area during mid-May, June, July, and the beginning of August 2018. I have completely open availability during these months! In late August I will be moving to Africa to spend a year doing missionary work, which is why I am only available through the beginning of August. I have cared for toddlers and upper-elementary aged children, but am comfortable with children two months and older. I am more than happy to handle meal prep/feeding, changing, nap and bed-time, pick-up/drop-off, and light housekeeping (i. e. laundry, picking up, other cleaning). I always strive to build a trusting relationship with children I care for. I love to take them outdoors in the warm months, Read more and think through new activities and routines that are fun and age-appropriate for them. I have been told that I am caring, flexible, reliable. I would consider this my full-time job (even if it doesn’t end up being 40 hours a week) and work diligently to be sure your children are well-loved, encouraged, built up, and given opportunities to learn and grow. I have my own car and have never been in an accident before. I will communicate with you and be prompt. If you need extra help for things like date nights, I would love to be on-call as well! I would love to get to know your kiddo(s) and be a part of a fun and enriching summer for them! Looking forward to connecting with you.
