Meet Erica

Hello! My name is Erica, I am 24 years old and I grew up in Burlington, Vermont. I went to the University of Vermont where I studied human development and family studies as well as behavioral change health studies. I have a love for the outdoors, whether it's trips to the beach or walks on the waterfront. I love dogs and I'm passionate about health and wellness. While I was at UVM I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children and families and I jumped right in to working in early education. I began working with preschoolers my senior year and once I finished my undergrad I was given the opportunity to become a lead teacher in an infant classroom. I quickly fell in love with teaching infants and young toddlers. During my undergrad as well as throughout my experience in early education thus far Read more I gained a play-based philosophy of learning and whole heartily believe that children of all ages are capable citizens in our society. It is my goal to provide children with the opportunities and exploration to build on the strengths they already have in order to become the best versions of themselves.
