I have been around and caring for children for as long as I can remember, beginning with my brother who is 7 years younger than me. I graduated from UT Austin with my bachelor's of social work, and am currently pursuing my master's of social work online, with a specialization in children and families. For half of the year, I am an assistant volleyball coach at a private school. For the other half of the year, I typically work in a daycare (as of now just once a week) and pick up sitting jobs when I can. I have no less than 7 years of paid experience of working with young children, including work in elementary schools. I currently work with young children, ranging in age from older infants to about kindergarten age, but have experience with most age ranges. I work with children because it is typically something that Read more I always enjoy and my time with them always brightens my week, no matter how difficult it may get. Some hobbies of mine include volleyball (playing and coaching), music (piano, vocals), and crafts (jewelry making, painting, etc.). With my master's program being online, I have a good amount of flexibility, but typically prefer working during the week and during the day, though I am willing to talk about other possible times/days.
