Meet Heidy

While I don't have years of experience working hands-on with children and babysitting, childcare and teaching is a passion I've been working towards learning more about since my freshman year. I'm taking an Early Childhood Education course in the Hammond Area Career Center where I additionally intern at a head start program with 3-5 year olds. I am CPR and first aide certified, and I also completed the Indiana I-LEAD trainings. I've always planned to begin babysitting to help grow my experience with children, however, now I have the proper tools and knowledge to begin.
