With 9 years of experience in the childcare realm, having done so with my younger sibling. 8 months of my experience was obtained in a professional childcare environment having worked at an after school program with a varied range of age groups. You could say I’m pretty new to professional childcare so to speak. I’m currently attending my second year of college with an intent of majoring in psychology as well as nursing, so gaining further childcare experience would be beneficial. As a childcare worker, I’m looking to serve a role of an older sibling or a light at the end of the tunnel for the youth. I love to provide support and attention to the little ones, whether they’re seeking it physically, emotionally, socially etc.. I also prioritize safety, communication, comfort as well as companionship above all else. Lastly, I recently completed an allied health program and have obtained my AHA BLS, so I’m CPR and First Aid/AED trained too:)
