Hi Families! I am Emma. I have worked in the childcare field for over five years, with experiences ranging from nannying to being an infant teacher, even spending time as a summer camp counselor. I have worked with all ages and have experience with taking care of multiple children at once. My passion for working with children stems from my desire to make a positive impact on their lives as well as supporting the families I work with. I believe in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where children can not only learn and grow but also have fun! I strive for open communication with parents and will provide regular updates throughout the day, including pictures, as well as a brief summary of the day upon the parents' request. I am comfortable with enforcing household rules while following the parents' lead to ensure consistency for the child/children. Throughout my time as a nanny, I have potty trained, taught basics of counting and reading, and encouraged problem-solving through activities as well as real-life situations. Additionally, I believe that outings such as parks, museums, and libraries are not only fun but provide a key part in the progression of social and emotional skills in young children. I am currently a junior pursuing my degree in Art History through Umass Lowell, in my free time I enjoy cooking and baking as well as reading and spending time with my family and my pets, I look forward to chatting with you!
