Hi there, My name is Erin Nevins, I am 33 years old and happily married to my wonderful husband, Daniel. We have lived in Colorado for around 4 years now and could not be happier with our move! I obtained my B.S. in Child & Family Development from San Diego State University in 2013 and completed my master’s program in Social Emotional Learning from National University in 2021. I have worked with kids in both school and at-home/nanny settings with ages 0 months-18 years, specializing in early childhood education and care with ages birth through 6 years. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to teach in multiple countries, which has equipped me with a unique set of tools to understanding children from many different backgrounds and cultures. Having worked in these various settings has allowed me to obtain the knowledge and skills required to best develop strong relationships with children Read more and their families, as well as to guide and encourage a child’s growth in all areas of life- not just where academics are concerned. My number one priority where children are involved is their safety, closely followed by building a relationship founded on trust and open communication. Although being a nanny and working with children is a challenging job and career, it is much more than that to me- it is my passion and a chance to work alongside families to provide the best possible experiences for each child to reach their fullest potentials, no matter which stage they are in.
