Welcome! My name is Aliyah. I am 22 years old and reside within Corpus Christi. My patience and compassion for our tiny humans sets me apart from the crowd. I am the oldest of my three siblings with ages ranging from 18 to 4! They are my world. I’ve had 6 years babysitting and 1 year full time nannying experience. This experience consisted of looking after children for date nights, transporting children safely to and from school, practices & events & weekend/holiday sitting, homework help, potty training, nap times, bottle feedings, diaper changes, learning based play, baby led weaning, food preparation, etc. I am no expert, but I am comfortable with just about anything, even if I have to learn something new. My priority is always the well being and safety of others. I learned helpful skills for building trust and confidence in children in order to create positive outcomes. Most of my prior employment history has been in restaurants and cafes as a barista, then cafe manager. I am currently saving and preparing to reenroll into college to obtain a degree in the medical field. I want to protect the vulnerable and be a voice for those left unheard. I am very active and enjoy lifting weights, running, walking and tennis. I love to journal and read. Coffee is the way to my heart. I am not a stranger to arts and crafts, dancing, singing, laughing and even crying, screaming and comforting, loving and calming. I am seeking to sit for a family who is searching for a sitter that feels like family and can be of support. We only get one chance at life, so I’d love to share my skills and heart with as many people as I can. Kids are much simpler than us and I believe that there’s so much to be learned from them!
