Hello my name is Gracelyn Gibbens, most people call me Gracie! My current rate is $21-25 an hour. I am 21 years old and have lived in Boise, ID my whole life. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are hanging out with my friends, spending time with my family and getting outdoors whenever possible. I studied at Boise State for a couple of months after graduating highschool before deciding to take some time away to do what I love. My passion for taking care of children started at a young age. I spent a lot of time helping my mom and dad take care of my two younger sisters before babysitting other children when I turned 14 years old. After taking the safe sitters class and babysitting for a couple years I applied for an after school job at a daycare. I started out there as a Read more float, where I would spend my time helping out in multiple different classrooms with ages ranging from 3 months to 3 years. My goal had always been to work full time in the infant classroom as the co-teacher. After a lot of hard work and proving my dedication for the job I was later promoted to that position. Being the infant room co-teacher has been one of my greatest accomplishments. After three years at the daycare I was very confident in providing excellent care to young children and decided to try private nannying. I’ve been a nanny for 3 years now and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. It has been the greatest thing I've done and has fulfilled me more than I thought any career ever could. I have 6+ years of experience, I am infant and adult CPR and first aid certified as well as a city of boise licensed childcare provider.
