My name is Debbie and I retired early from healthcare 11 years ago. Thanks to Scott, my partner for the better part of 28 years. I was employed as a nurses aide, medical assistant, critical care tech and a surgery scrub technician in the labor and delivery department. My certifications in first aide and CPR have since expired though I am willing to take a re-fresher course. I've spent almost as many years working in child care. From a part time babysitter to a full time, live-in nanny. I've cared for males and females from newborn to age 13. I've worked with multiples and supervised groups while their parents held bible study. Currently I care for a 10 month old boy in my home Tuesday through Thursday and every other Monday. I have watched Luke since he was 2 months old. Most recently I had charge of an 8 year Read more old girl. For the last year and a half I would pick up Dylan from school on Thursday afternoon and keep her until I would drop her off at school on Friday morning. We enjoyed singing along with the radio, going to the park and playground, arts & crafts, playing board games, swimming and reading out loud to each other. In recent years I worked with the Sampson's. I cared for their girls age 2 and 4 until their mother returned from work. We enjoyed crafts, dolls, fairies, mermaids, puzzles, coloring, reading together as well as playing outside at the park, the playground and in the back yard. For the Kling's I tended to the imagination, energy and creativity of a 4 year old girl while also nurturing her 6 week old sister. I would feed, change and bathe baby Miriam. We would pick up Lydia from school and often go to the library, recreation center or park before going home for an afternoon snack. After playing with Lydia's many musical instruments and dog, she would help me prepare her healthy meal. I bathed Lydia before her dad arrived home and I often put her to bed before leaving. I have a nurturing personality. I love caring for seniors, children and pets. My passion is dog rescue which I have done since 2014. I volunteer with 3 different dog rescues and almost always have foster dogs along with my own.
