As the second oldest of eight children, you might say I was born into a childcare role. My first paying job was a babysitter. Those children have since graduated college, but we keep in touch and see each other during the holidays. I am a single mother to one fantastic young man (10 years old) and worked in a local CDO program through a church during the years that my son attended said program (ages nursery through 4 years old). I am currently a part time nanny to a 2-month-old. Children are incredible; every one of them unique and special in their own ways. Assisting in early development through age 4-5 is my favorite, during which time they change so much daily!
