I'm a devoted former "soccer mom" of an awesome young man who is now all grown up. I’m a very patient, nurturing and kind person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I also consider myself to still be a "big kid at heart", and I love to share my creative imagination and playful spirit with children. I currently work full-time during the week in a pediatric hospital setting where the toys are my co-workers, and I love them all! I have a special place in my heart for baby dolls, Barbies, Curious George, and Mr. Rogers. Having raised a son, I also became an expert in superheroes, Legos, Hot Wheels, and professional sports. In my free time I enjoy being creative with arts & crafts, baking, and photography. I also love to read, enjoy all types of music, astrology, meditation, hiking and being one with nature. Prior to becoming Read more a mom, I spent many years as a pre-teen and teenager babysitting children of all ages. I have a master's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, and I've worked in the field helping people with disabilities for 20+ years. Throughout my career, I've worked with infants, children and teens with a variety of disabilities, at-risk and homeless youth, pediatric patients in the hospital setting, and infants and toddlers in a church nursery. In 2017, I went to Africa on a humanitarian trip volunteering in a preschool for orphaned children. If you're looking for a modern day "Mary Poppins" who is not only mature, responsible, reliable, but also patient, caring, and FUN look no further! I would welcome the opportunity to help your family. I'm also a HUGE animal lover, so I'm comfortable being around your fur babies, and I'm a non-smoker with my own reliable transportation. I'm currently certified in CPR and First Aid, and I'm fully vaccinated. Thanks for reading my bio. I look forward to sharing my playful and caring heart with you and your family soon! *PLEASE NOTE: I do currently work full-time, Monday-Friday, so my availability is limited to early weekday mornings, weekends and holidays at this time. Thank you!
