Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I'm 30 years old. I was born and raised in Redwood City and am the middle child, with one older sister and two younger brothers. My first language is Spanish, followed by English, and I have been working with children, from infants up to 5th graders, for the past 11-12 years. Since I was young, I knew I wanted to work with kids. I started caring for my younger siblings when I was 10 and often looked after my mom's friends' babies as well. After high school, Ibegan my career as a Recreational Leader with the City of Redwood City, working with K-5th grade students for five years. I also worked for the school district as a yard duty supervisor at an elementary school. Currently, I'm working at a different private daycare, where I started as a preschool teacher three years ago and was later promoted to assistant director.
