Nathalia had a great interview and said all of the right things to make you feel confident and comfortable. On her first day, we spent the morning walking thru a typical day with our baby and what’s expected while in our home - all of which was overly communicated in the interview days prior. I stepped out for a doctor’s appointment that afternoon. While at my appointment, she contacted me to say she needed to leave her shift early to handle a private matter. The following day she let me know that she would no longer be available to work at all due to personal issues that required her attention. She emphasized that it had nothing to do with our child or her experience. Since then, she has since updated her Sittercity app profile to reflect open hours and increased her pay bracket. There is currently no indication on her app’s profile that she cannot work or that there is a significant reduction in her work hours. In her interview she said communication was her strength, and was also something we asked of her in the interview. It’s disappointing because we asked her if we should close our open job on the app, to which she said yes. We turned down other applicants in the process. Other families deserve to know so they can potentially plan for risk moving forward - keep your application open, interview multiple candidates, have multiple first days with sitters, etc.

Nathalia was the best sitter ever. She took such great care of my baby boy. She’s calm, gentle, fun, and loving. I will recommend her 1 million times to every mom who needs a sitter for their precious Child! She’s very trust worthy. 10/10! Will definitely be using her for all baby sitting needs. Thank you.
