I am a Master’s Student at UTEP looking to help any families in need of an extra hand. I was able to gain some experience by babysitting for a family friend. I took care of a one year old and a four year old for about 7 hours for three days. It gave me lots of insight and patience. I have also taken care of my young cousin throughout the years. She is 17 now. I also have taken care of my niece periodically since she was born. She is 5 months old. I have also substituted a kindergarten class. Both my parents are retired teachers. I grew up watching them handle not only children, but large groups of them as well. They taught me how to be caring and kinds towards everyone which is something I apply in all aspects of my life.
