I genuinely love spending time with children. My mom was one of 9 children. I have been taking care of younger cousins since I was a pre-teen. With my college training I have a good understanding of child development, and can provide children with developmentally appropriate activities. I am a good communicator with both children and parents, and always keep in mind that parents have the final say. I am energetic, fun, flexible and patient. When children lose their temper or become irritated, I know how to stay calm and divert their attention to something positive. I strive to be proactive instead of reactive.
