Hello Family, I’m Jacinda Romo, and I’m excited to share a little about myself with you! I’ve been a nanny for over six wonderful years, and I truly cherish every moment spent with children. I grew up in El Paso, Texas, where I lived for 15 years before moving to Denver, Colorado, for the next decade. Recently, I returned to Texas, and it feels so good to be back home! If you ask my loved ones, they’d describe me as dependable, kind, and organized. From a young age, I’ve always had a nurturing spirit, taking care of my two younger sisters. My youngest sister is Deaf, Autistic, and has ADHD, which taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and unconditional love. I began nannying in high school, and as word spread, I happily continued throughout college, eventually graduating from CU Boulder in May 2021. Each child I’ve cared for has Read more held a special place in my heart, and I’ve built meaningful relationships with the more than ten families I’ve had the joy of working with. Children have a remarkable way of bringing out the best in us, and through nannying, I’ve honed my adaptability, resourcefulness, and attentiveness. My greatest joy comes from helping kids grow into kind and strong individuals. After finishing my degree, I spent three years as an Employment Specialist, where I provided training and support to youth and adults with disabilities. My heart is truly in nurturing children and uplifting underserved communities. I hold a Colorado Substitute K-12 Teacher Certification and am CPR and AED certified. I also speak Spanish and American Sign Language, which helps me connect with even more families. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better.
