My kids are both away at college and I'd love to help kids or adults in my area with their studies. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Fine Arts degree. I was also certified to teach K-12 art although I never taught in schools as I chose other career paths. I love kids and am totally comfortable with pets. (I have a Newfoundland) I'd describe my personality as friendly, focused and creative I like tutoring because I want to see self confidence and esteem improve. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and part time. My availability is flexible. I'm able to help with homework, tutor and improve study habits and retention. I benefited from tutoring when I was in school and I'd like to pay it forward now that my kids are grown.
