Hi, I'm Luca! I am 25 years old and grew up in Texas. I moved to Vermont in the summer of 2022 and I love it here! I spend a lot of time outisde and most of that time i'm in trees. I have been working with kids since I was one. I started babysitting at 15 and the following summer I was certified as a lifeguard. I worked at pools every summer in high school and during the school year I coached a middle school speech and debate team. After high school I worked 2 years at a swim school, working primarily with 3-5 year olds but I taught infants all the way through swim team coaching. My first job in Vermont was lifeguard/swim teacher for a summer camp. After the summer I stayed at the school as a support teacher until the following May. I left to explore Read more my passion for science and the outdoors at an environmental testing lab for a year. It has been over a year since I stopped working with kids and I miss it a lot. Grown ups are great but they are kind of boring to work with. Kiddos bring so much light into the world in a way that is lost by most people as they grow up. I am passionate about education and safety but mostly I am passionate about play and being silly and creative. I have a wide range of skills and experience and I am very adaptable. I want to care for your children and their specific needs as well as your own.
