I have been in the field of childcare for several years, working with infants and children up to four years of age. Childcare came naturally to me as I have a large family and obtained much of my experience helping where I was needed. I volunteered my services to a single mother of three for several years where I was able to acquire experience working with several children at once including a newborn baby. Over the past couple of years I have worked with three families. One family included two little ones, ages 1 and 3. The second family, has an 11 month old who I have cared for since he was 6 months old. The third family has a 9 month old who I worked with on a temporary basis. My most useful child care skills are my playful energy, calm and grounded demeanor, excellent cooking and cleaning abilities, observant and patient approach and my ability to quickly adjust to most scenarios or needs the family has. My goal is to work for a family full or part time, for at least 6 months that also allows time for my studies.
