Hello! My name is Anya, I am 21 years old and I attend the University of Richmond. I am the youngest of three siblings, and the oldest of four cousins. Growing up I had the opportunity to look after and take care of all of them. Furthermore, I started babysitting when I was 14, I took care of three children ages 8 months, 4 years and 7 years. Throughout high school I had a few more babysitting jobs, including one little boy with autism. I am CPR/AED and first aid certified, and I completed and passed a year long EMT course the year of 2022. I am studying to ultimately become a nurse-midwife. I have numerous hobbies and most revolve around arts- such as crocheting and drawing. Furthermore, I took part in 3 varsity sports during high school and like to maintain an active lifestyle. Additionally, I abstain from social media and try to limit my own screen time as much as possible, which is reflected in the activities I choose to do as a sitter. In terms of specific qualities about myself, I am patient and calm and love finding new and creative ways to make school work and learning approachable to different kiddos.
