My name is Sydney Petersen, and I am graduating University of Minnesota Morris with a Elementary education degree in the spring of 2025, and I have a passion for working with children. I love being a nanny because it allows me to create a positive, nurturing, and fun environment where kids can learn and grow. Every child is unique, and I enjoy engaging them in activities that match their interests, whether it's arts and crafts, outdoor play, or reading together. I have extensive experience working with children of various ages. I have worked as an elementary teacher, private tutor, and volleyball coach, which has given me valuable insight into child development and education. My background in teaching has strengthened my ability to foster creativity, patience, and a structured yet flexible approach to childcare. In addition to my hands-on experience, I have strong skills in organization, communication, and problem-solving. I am Read more CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring a safe environment for your little ones. I also have experience helping with homework, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
