Hello! My name is Britt Blankenburg, and I recently moved to Westminster, CO from Chicago. I work as a gardener in Boulder full-time throughout the week, and am looking for an occasional babysitting position for evenings and weekends. Prior to the move, I worked as a toddler lead guide at a Montessori school in downtown Chicago. During the heat of the pandemic, I switched to nannying for just one family at a time. Altogether, I have 12 years of childcare experience (teaching and nannying) for ages 0-3 years. I’m happy to provide references upon request, should you want to inquire more info from the families I’ve worked with. Similar to gardening, taking care of things/nurturing brings me a lot of joy, and I’m hoping to get back into childcare once I get to know the CO areas!
