After teaching for five years I have a plethora of stories of all the interesting and hilarious things kids have said to me. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself! My mom did daycare out of our house growing up. I loved helping her take care of the babies and playing with the other kids. I became a certified babysitter with the Red Cross when I was only 11 years old. During high school I became a nanny and swim teacher. Shortly after I transitioned into the classroom setting. My skills include being able to plan and carry out developmentally appropriate activities that are not only educational, but also fun for everyone! Keeping my cool in stressful situations and maintaining a safe and loving environment. I am comfortable helping with preparing meals, bedtime routines, and light housework.
