With children comes patience. for most of the adolescent years of my life, I spent them in foster care. Realizing strangers are only nice when they want to be, I became the adult I wish I had. A kind, understanding adult . While in my last year of care, I was adopted by two , married almost as long as I've been alive, women. Being "unwanted" as I called it, I did not believe they cared for me. but as I came to watch them with the other two children (who are now my brothers) they had, I began to understand strangers can be supportive , more supportive than anyone you've known your entire life. they were so kind with babies, literal babies, at this time my siblings 10 months and 2 yrs. these were babies they did not create . yet they had so much patience. While living with Read more foster parents, I've had many run ins with many different children. I've expanded my childcare experience by even watching my adopted brothers little sister from 4 months old to now..if that makes sense. I have a good friend who lives in Virginia who has two children , but with her first she needed help and I assisted in nighttime routines. To this day I still step in with my parents and help in any way I possibly can. I have many certifications as well as emergency response training, First aid, and SIDS training. I've completed playground safety , as well as CPR for both infants and adults.I am currently in college for early childhood development and education. Currently 7 months Pregnant , All I want to do is be around babies!!
