Hello, I'm Kimberlee. I am currently a home health aide for persons with IDD (Intellectual Developmental Disabilities). Childcare Background: I am 23 years old. I was the youngest of 5 until 10 years ago I became the big sister/babysitter of our youngest sibling. For 8 out of those 10 years of her life, I was trained by a mother with on-hand experience of: swaddling, bottle/diaper duty, potty training, emotional coaching and first steps to school drop-offs/pick-ups, staying for sports practices and attending games as well as everything that comes in-between... Adult Assistance: I work full-time in a group home with adults, assisting them with everyday living: meal-prep/cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning their home (coach them through the chore and clean what they cannot), personal hygiene (showers, flossing/brushing teeth, using the restroom), basic skills in financial literacy, effective communication/managing behaviors, doctors' appointments, giving medication in addition to participating in events that are Read more available or going out to explore.
