I’ve worked in a childcare facility recently for 5 years. I worked in the infant room as an assistant teacher and toddler room as the lead teacher. I do have a current CPR training certification and numerous continuing education certificates. I do enjoy friendly pets but absolutely no exotic pets, as I am terrified of them. I would like a part-time position. I took a year and a few months off of work, and now want to enter the workforce slowly (part-time). I love building strong, nurturing, kind, respectful, supportive, and loving relationships with children. I believe a strong relationship happens when trust is built which includes spending time with children, listening, and interacting. I enjoy child-led activities, but also will initiate them as needed. I believe a child should also play on their own with supervision, as this play encourages independence. I am able and willing to include light Read more housekeeping. I raised 3 children of my own which gives me experience with all ages. I am healthy, active, and able to comfortably lift 30 pounds. Full disclosure I have been Pfizer vaccinated for Covid but not boosted. I am not willing to jeopardize my health by continuing with any boosters. This comes from educating myself on the pros and cons of continuing these actions. I will follow your instructions on your children’s wants, needs, diet preferences, and schedules.
