Hi! My name is Madelyn but I prefer Maddie. I am a current sophomore at the University of Florida majoring in Finance. Outside of classes I am in Gamma Phi Beta (social sorority), Alpha Kappa Psi (business fraternity), and a Team Leader for a Leadership Development Program. I graduated from Mandarin High School in 2023 in the top 10% of my class. I will be home for the holidays and am interested in Babysitting as I have strong experience and love kids! In high school, I volunteered in my church's nursery (16-24 months) where I was responsible for 8-12 children for 2 hrs with the help of one other volunteer. This past Spring I was a Girls on the Run coach at Parker Elementary in Alachua County. My Co-coach and I had an amazing group of 8, 3rd and 4th graders. We meet twice a week for a total of Read more 3 hrs. By closely following the curriculum we taught these girls to use their star power to shine bright, treating themselves and others with kindness. This past summer, I worked at the Florida Sea Base High Adventure Camp owned by Boy Scouts of America. I worked in the Ship Store as a Clerk. Through this position I went through multiple youth protection trainings including youth on youth. Outside of my experience with children, I have worked at the Chick-FiL-A in the Avenues mall since July 2020 and am currently seasonal. Fortunately, they are flexible, allowing me to babysit on the side! Lastly, I understand that working with children is a huge responsibility, which I take on willingly. I am an older sister by 4 years, the "mom" friend and an extremely hard worker. When I am watching your child, they will be my first priority. I have open availability as I am off from school.
