Hi! I’m a retired educator who has a PhD in early childhood education and infants from birth to age 3. I taught children ages 3-22 years old (with and without disabilities, and children & youth who are gifted). I love spending time with babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and children & youth of all ages. If I had to pick, I’d say the younger the better, but I’m excited to visit with any young person of any disposition at any time! 😍 I’m also a dog and cat aficionado! I’ve a pack of five rescue dogs, and I have three grand-dogs, too! I don’t currently have a cat, but I’ve adopted several over the years. I love them all! I’d love to babysit for you, care for your pets, and put your mind at ease so you can go on date nights, work part-time, run errands, go to appointments, or whatever you Read more need to do with your mind at ease that everything is safe and sound at home. I can provide transportation to or from preschool or pick up a child after school or from a friend’s house. I’m likewise happy to take the kids on a neighborhood walk, go to a nearby park to play, or to the local library to read stories. I can help with homework for older kids. I’m an ace at arts & crafts, backyard sports, and creative imagination games. I also build a fabulous blanket fort. My homemade cookies are the best.
