Nice to see you here! I’m Katelyn, a loving, nurturing sitter with a passion for creating the best environment for your littles! I’ve spent my entire life around children, as I’m an aunt of 9, cousin to many, and former Sunday school teacher. That continued as I became a paid sitter in 2021, a substitute teacher the following year, and an assistant teacher until October 2024. In my babysitting experience, I’ve had 5 wonderful families whom I remain grateful to for helping me grow as a caregiver. As the jobs changed, I gained a bit more experience that believe will be helpful for the families I hope to service. I worked as a substitute teacher for grades pre-k—10, with the primary focus being early elementary. I completed long-term assignments with kinder and 1st grade, and I later became a full-time assistant teacher for 1st-2nd. This has allowed me to see Read more and understand the academic focuses of students by level, and I’ve had extensive experience working with various learning styles. This would be great for homework or extra practice, if needed. I’m also a big kid at heart, and I love finding new little besties to experience life with, as children have some of the most creative imaginations, honest opinions, and sweetest souls.
