Welcome, I'm so glad you're here! Let me introduce myself. I'm Lindsey - a 22 year old with a large passion for wellness, family, and genuine human connection. While on my entrepreneurial exploration journey, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with a local family that allows me to feel fulfilled by serving my purpose as a caregiver. My goal is to help parents reclaim time to focus on their responsibilities and relationships outside of the home, while trusting that their children are in good hands. Since early childhood, I understood that my purpose in this life was to create a sense of hospitality, safety, and livelihood for others. Being a child caregiver - until I could be a parent, myself - was something that I truly identify with because of this. Upon reaching my teenage years, I immediately began taking any opportunities that presented themselves. Through volunteer teaching of Read more a church classroom of approximately 30 children each week, I was able to gain experience with youth ages 12 mo - 13 yo. I carried this into future paid positions in childcare. These included caring for a family of 3 boys (7-12 yo), two girls (4 and 10 yo), a young boy (5 yo), and as a full-time nanny for an infant, between the ages of 6 mo and 18 mo. Each of these experiences have taught me a lot about children through various stages of youth. I highly value developing an interpersonal relationship with each family and their children from the get-go, so that I may have a better understanding of their values, developmental parenting preferences, and hobbies. Regardless, I love to incorporate a balance of relaxation, mindful practices, time outdoors, physical activity, critical-thinking, and creative projects. No matter the day, I will always prioritize creating an engaging experience for your children. I am currently in an interim corporate job that does not fulfill me, while searching for a new caregiving role. For the right fit, I am motivated and ready to leave my current job for an immediate start on a Mon-Fri schedule and am willing to relocate. I am currently in the process of obtaining my CPR and First Aid Certificates. If there are any other qualifications that you would like me to obtain, please do not hesitate to reach out.
