Experienced, Trustworthy, and Fun-Loving Caregiver Here to Nurture and Support! New to Sittercity! Hello! My name is Amber, and I’d love to be your family’s trusted caregiver. With a lifetime of experience caring for children, starting with my six siblings, I've been nurturing young ones since I was just 10 years old. Today, at 28, I have the privilege of leading the youth program at my ministry, where I work with kids of all ages. I also tutor two wonderful 9-year-olds each week, so I’m comfortable with everything from newborns to teens and fully understand how to connect with and care for each age group. I hold a master’s degree from NC State and have a strong sense of responsibility, balance, and maturity that I bring into each caregiving role. I believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment for kids while making sure parents’ wishes are a top priority. Read more I’m all about “safe fun”—bringing joy to your little ones with make-believe adventures, makeshift arts and crafts, homemade plays, and captivating storytelling. I lead the music ministry at my church and as a keyboardist, drummer, and guitarist, I love introducing kids to music and letting them experience the joy of creativity. Beyond music and arts, I have a genuine love for sports and enjoy finding fun, active ways to keep kids engaged, whether it’s kicking around a soccer ball, shooting hoops, or enjoying some friendly competition in backyard games. Consistency and structure are important to me, so I’m happy to establish and maintain bedtime routines, keep your home tidy, provide nutritious (and budget-friendly!) meals, and create a reliable routine that suits each child’s needs. I’m available every day after 3 PM, and I’m open to both one-time and regular jobs. I’d be honored to be a part of your child’s life and provide a trustworthy, caring presence for your family.
