Hello Parents, I greatly enjoy being with children and specialize in caring for infants through early childhood age. I love supporting children's expression and creativity with music, storybooks, art, nature, and pretend-play. I am attentive, warm, and caring with my little friends. I seek to foster a happy, secure environment and to support the care routines and values you have for your children. I have several years’ experience, including nannying and babysitting for newborns, toddlers, and young children. My graduate degree in psychology, with a specialization in children, families, and cultures, ensures that I am sensitive to the needs of infants and children at different developmental stages. My experience includes 2 years with the Fairfax community Infancy and Early Childhood program. I am pleased to highlight that I recently completed a 14-week DONA-certified postpartum doula training program, dedicated to providing support to mother, newborn, and other family members. I would Read more be delighted to support your family during this important transition. Health and safety are a top priority; I have updated pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (renewed January 2022) and am COVID-vaccinated with booster. I am available for child care and postpartum doula services in the late afternoon/evenings and weekends. I would be glad to provide parent references and other information that may be helpful in selecting a trustworthy caregiver. I would love to meet you and your child or children, and I look forward to hearing how I can support your family.

Sue is an absolute delight and a wonderful addition to our family! She has been watching our 3.5 year old and 1 year old for the last 6 months and we are so pleased we have found her! She is reliable, kind, attentive and always engages in fun activities with the kids. She has the biggest heart and we trust her entirely with our children. She follows the girls schedules perfectly and learned their routines quickly. She has been so thoughtful and brought library books to read with our girls, and even little crafts for our eldest to create. You won’t go wrong with hiring Sue!
