I am extremely disappointed with Michelle's lack of professionalism at the end of the hiring process. We interviewed Michelle and decided to invite her back to interact with our children. They enjoyed their time with her and after conducting a background check we decided to offer our nanny position to Michelle. I spoke with her over the phone about 2 weeks prior to our agreed upon start date to discuss logistics, pay, etc. She was agreeable to everything and said she was excited. Less than one week prior to her start date I reached out to her to check in about finalizing paperwork and she did not respond that evening. Figuring she may have been busy I waited until the next day and sent a follow up message. When she didn't respond to that I became concerned that something had happened as she had always been quick to respond (seeing later that she had signed into this site after this time frame makes me feel pretty confident that nothing legitimate prevented her from responding to my me). After receiving no response from my 2 text messages I then called and left her a voicemail. In the end Michelle never responded to me and did not show up on the agreed upon start date. She did not even extend my family the common courtesy of informing us that she no longer intended to fill our nanny position. I will say that I am glad that her true character came to light before she began caring for my children.
