Hello! I am a 19 year old (mentioning because I know some parents prefer older caretakers) college student who works as a part time aftercare teacher for grades pre-school through 5th grade. In the workplace, my skills include: aiding in homework, fostering a more relaxed and welcoming environment, grounding exercises for "big feelings" in children , encouraging safety, helping special needs students Outside of the workplace, I can do basic house chores such as cleaning and cooking. Notes about hours: Since I am a college student, there are some mornings in which I will not be available, as my classes go from 10-2:10 and then I immediately leave for work from 2:45-5:00 (unless it is Wednesday, then it is 2:30-6:00) Currently, my college classes are Monday-Wednesday. On these days, I would prefer later hours.
