I have been working with kids since I was one myself (13), getting odd jobs from neighbors and family friends who could conveniently pay me next to nothing (never bothered me). I have always loved caring for kids of any age, it is a thoroughly rewarding job. Over the years my reputation for being a pretty good nanny brought me more jobs and this morphed into a summer of being a camp counselor. It was truly a tough job managing a group of 5-7-year-olds for 2 weeks to 13-14 year-olds the next and so on for 3 months, but it was the most amazing and life-changing time of my life. I will continue to love this work and am planning to move to the city within the next 2 years and am hoping to find lots of work, especially babysitting to keep my days filled with at least a little Read more bit of childlike imagination and joy. I am a young, creative soul, positivity runs my life, and my greatest wish is to do something worthwhile and truly meaningful. I am a very hard worker, and very lenient. Not much bothers me, I'm non-confrontational and easygoing (and pretty funny sometimes) [as a little side note, the counseling job required CPR and First AID training so I have my certification). Why do I love working with kids? Because they bring me unimaginable happiness. I have a little sister of almost 6 years old now and have watched her grow into an incredible, beautiful, sassy little gremlin. She is the light of my life. Pretty much, I see a little kid and I have to make them laugh or smile. The world is a marvel in the eyes of a child.
