I have worked with children as well as teens as a nanny/sitter as well as worked in a preschool as a child sitter and a preschool teacher SUB . at an Infant center and preschool. I have 12 ECE units I have taken Child and Infant development among others. I do not believe in spanking but I do believe in a strong stern voice if needed but more often than not children are just being children and they need someone that understands and loves them unconditionally. for every child I have worked with I remember his/her names. in some families I have been a part of birthday parties etc long after I stopped working with them. I am looking currently for more one on one work with children as I believe we all benefit from such closeness versus the hectic life at a day care center. :)
