Hi, my name is Zemia and I’m new to the SitterCity platform, but I’m definitely not new to caregiving. I currently work with individuals with disabilities, helping with daily routines, offering emotional support, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Before that, I spent over 5 years as a caregiver for elderly clients, assisting with personal care, meal prep, medication reminders, and companionship. These roles taught me to be patient, dependable, and attentive to each person’s unique needs. I also have experience working in daycare programs in my apartment community, where I cared for children of all ages. I kept things structured, planned fun and creative activities, and made sure every child felt safe, heard, and cared for. That experience helped me build strong skills in managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines—something I truly enjoy. I’m also CPR certified, which helps provide extra peace of mind for parents. Read more Safety, trust, and genuine care are always my top priorities. Even though I’m new to this app and don’t have a lot of reviews just yet, I bring years of hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a real passion for working with children. If you’re looking for someone who’s reliable, kind, and committed to creating a positive environment for your kids, I’d love the opportunity to support your family.
