Hello! Please note - I do not have availability for recurring daytime work. Only able to help with one-time/sporadic date nights and some weekend sitting. I have been continuously babysitting for 20+ years! I'm 36 so I started young - that's what happens when you grow up with 7 brothers. Busy households are nothing new to me. I am experienced with children ages newborn through teen-aged, have spent years working for the same families, and have been a live-in nanny. I have done overnights, extended stays, and traveled with families. I also student-taught and completed all requirements for an elementary teaching certification from Wellesley College, which enhances my perspective on children, their learning/emotional needs, and how to best care for them in a variety of settings. Currently not available for regular recurring weekday work, as I'm in grad school. If you would like details on specific jobs or experiences, please Read more don't hesitate to ask. I love providing great care and helping parents feel at ease when they leave their children with me.

In Austin from out of town, visiting for a wedding. Needed a sitter on short notice and Liz came to the rescue. She watched two toddler boys (1.5 yrs and almost 3 yrs, both in diapers) for the evening of the wedding. When we came home, both kids were asleep and in bed, fed, and clean. When she showed up, Liz was professional and friendly and it was clear she had experience and knew what to do. We appreciated that she checked in on text once in the evening to ask for clarification on which bottles/cups to use for the boys. When we came home, she debriefed us and let us know all was well. I would recommend Liz for anyone looking for a confident, qualified, friendly, mature, and communicative sitter. And I am sure she'd be a great regular nanny too - if we lived in Austin we would have her in our call list!

Liz has been our only sitter for about four months. She started with our daughter when she was about 4 months old. I am a first time mom and super nervous about a stranger watching our little one and from our first meeting she made me feel at ease. Liz is punctual, a natural with children, sings songs, is patient, has a very positive energy about her and knows what she's doing! Our daughter loves her:-) I feel comfortable if I am in a hurry to leave and don't give her very much direction. I feel truly blessed to have found her!
