Hello! My name is Nia and Im a 20 y/o college student at SeattleU who is hoping to expand my experience with childcare. Throughout high school, i cherished the time i spent babysitting my elementary-school aged cousins. For a year and a half, i spent the summer and occasional weekends forming a strong bond with my cousins. It was rewarding to allow them to explore their creativity through drawing/painting activities, reading with them, or even just helping them with homework because overall, i had fun. I found enjoyment in being a staple for their development, as well as just getting to laugh and smile with them. In being a sitter, my goal is to be a warm and positive figure in a child's lives, while contributing to their learning and development of self-expression.
