Hi my name is Samira. I’m a future clinical psychologist with a degree in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University. I’m currently doing a community health fellowship through which I support 6 community members in managing their wellness, spend time with elders in a nursing home, run weekly programming at a senior center, and work with youth in the Pomona Hope after-school program. I have 10+ years of experience in childcare: first caring for my niece and nephew by the time I was 12, then working more professionally starting at 16. I’ve worked with neurodivergent children on the autism spectrum as well as immunocompromised children who need extra care. I’m a very patient and compassionate person which is why childcare has always come easy to me. I also have a strong sense of play which makes it easy for me to engage in nurturing and quality time with Read more children. I take care of myself by meditating, dancing, working out, and enjoying quality time with loved ones + in the outdoors. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you ¨̮
