My childcare fell through at the last minute and we are newer to the area as I explained to Marilyn, hence why I was looking for childcare at the last minute. I interviewed her 2 days before I needed childcare, she provided references and agreed to come to my home. I subsequently turned down other interviews I had scrambled to line up. She then messaged me the morning before with zero explanation and kissy face emoji letting me know she won't be coming the next day. I expressed my disappointment to her that I had turned down other interviews based on her commitment, just to let her know for future perhaps to consider this. And she then blamed me for looking for child care at the last minute. Someone who will not take responsibility for their own actions, I would not want around my family. After this interaction I'm actually grateful she flaked out and it is unsettling she made such a good impression and that I almost let her around my baby. Hence this review.
