Meet Khaniyah

I am currently in college getting a degree in communications and early childhood education. I started working with kids when I was about 15 and I now have experience in child care not only as a babysitter/nanny but also as a camp counselor and more recently and assistant teacher. Even though I am a student I am still available for weekdays and weekends. In my spare time, I like to work out, read, and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is that I am pretty easy going, I follow directions well, and kids love me! I have experience with a range of activities, from helping with homework and reading to organizing arts and crafts and outdoor play. I’m also comfortable with bedtime routines, meal preparation, and following any specific care instructions parents provide. I am also First Aid and CPR certified for children and infants, and I Read more have experience working with children from ages 3-11, and in my spare time, I like to work out, read, and watch movies. Parents appreciate my reliability and my calm, patient approach. I take my role seriously and understand the importance of ensuring children feel safe, happy, and well-cared for in their parents’ absence. I’m patient, organized, and attentive, with a genuine love for working with kids and a hope to become a teacher in the future.
